Kim Perdew

Kim Perdew works as a Compliance Consultant in the Records & Information Management Department at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. In that role, she is responsible for the yearly electronic destruction process, including the development and implementation of enhancements to the destruction application. She also works with Nationwide associates on various projects to integrate RIM practices into their organizations.

Martin Susec

President (2016-2017)

Martin Susec works within the Discovery Management Unit (DMU) of the Litigation Practice Group (LPG) of Nationwide where he advises and supports fellow attorneys and business units, including the Records & Information Management Unit (RIM), on the proper management of information within the enterprise.

Arlene Swanson

Vice President (2016-2017)

Arlene Swanson is the Director, Records Management at Nationwide Insurance. Arlene has been with Nationwide since 1997 and has held various positions within the Finance organization prior to joining Records Management. She has B.S. in Finance from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI and a B.S. in Accounting from Franklin University in Columbus, OH. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Arlene resides in Upper Arlington with her husband and daughter.

Jeremy Graham

Treasurer (2016-2017)

Jeremy Graham has been an ARMA member since 2012 and is the Records Coordinator at Bricker & Eckler, LLP. His duties include applying proper retention procedures for physical and electronic documents, as well as maintaining database integrity for the Records Departments various databases. Along with being involved with the ARMA Greater Columbus Chapter’s Board, Jeremy is a Co-Founder of his local Community Blockwatch, on the “Parliament of Fools” for the Annual SoHud Fools Parade and a Scottish Rite Freemason. In his spare time he enjoys working alongside his Fiance in the garden and working as a consultant for an established bio-tech company located in Powell, Ohio.

Kamal Kapoor

Director, Community Service (2016-2018)

Kamal Kapoor is an ARMA International member. He has been a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) for several years, and has been a member of the Central Ohio Chapter for three years. He has served as the Chair of the Government Relations Committee, and as the past President and Vice Chair of the Ohio Internal Audit Committee. He has an MBA in International Business from Capital University. In his current role, he is employed by the Industrial Commission of Ohio as a Program Administrator-3 and serve as the agency’s Records Management Officer. Prior to joining the State, served as a Manager at both US Bank and Huntington Bank.


Janice Redman

Director, Education (2016-2018)

Spanning over 25 years experience in the insurance and financial service industries, Jan has spent over ten years in the Records Management profession with Nationwide Insurance. As a business consultant, she manages Nationwide’s records retention schedule, and provide recommendations to business leads by addressing solutions for their records management matters, while helping ensure compliance with records policy and procedures. Jan was involved in the initial development and implementation of Nationwide’s Records and Information Management program, and was instrumental with establishing the program’s records management guidelines and procedures. Jan previously held the position as Seminar Director for ARMA’s Greater Columbus Chapter for two years, is a certificate holder for ERIM (Essentials of Records and Information Management) and ERMp (Electronic Records Management Practitioner). She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Franklin University and obtained a Master’s degree in Human Resources Administration from Central Michigan University.


Debbie Gantt

Director, Marketing (2015-2017)

Debbie Gantt has been an ARMA member since 2007 and is currently employed with Bricker & Eckler LLP. She is the firm’s Director of Records.
She manages the Firm’s records and risk management operations, and oversees the data integrity of the Firm’s client relationship management (CRM) system.

Prior to joining the legal industry, Debbie was involved in health information management (medical records) and continues to be an active member of AHIMA and OHIMA (Associations for Health Information Management).

Brian Hannan

Director, Membership (2016-2018)

Brian Hannan studied Architecture, Design and Fine Arts at The Ohio State University. He joined the legal firm Jones Day in 2002 and became their Records & Docket Manager in 2008. Since taking the position, his primary focus has been retention policy and guidelines, as well as cost reduction and efficiency. He has been an ARMA member since 2010. In his spare time he continues to do art and is an avid music vinyl record collector. Brian originally hails from Massachusetts.

Deb Voronkov

Director, Seminar (2016-2018)

Deb Voronkov works as the Corporate Records and Law Process Manager at Emerson Network Power. In this role she is responsible for the Records Program and works on process improvements for the Global Law Team and other parts of the organization. Deb has been a CRM since 2002. She currently is serving in her second year as the Chapters Director of Education. Deb has been an active member of the Columbus Chapter for over twenty years.

Trent Slabaugh

Director, Web Administration (2016-2017)

Trent Slabaugh is a System Admin / Analyst for Honda North America assigned to the Law Division – Records & Information Governance.
He has extensive Web Admin experience with SharePoint 2013 Enterprise and SharePoint 2013 Foundation and is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD).

His responsibilities include SharePoint Site Collection Admin for all Law Division sites, including the HNA Records Information Center.
In addition he is the System Admin for the OnPointe Records Archive and File360.

Trent is currently working on Information Governance programs for the entire North America region for Honda.
